My name is Karrie. I am a watercolor, mixed-media and ink artist living on the Big Island of Hawai'i. I am also a certified interior decorator/designer, and a certified mechanical and architectural draftsman/woman. I earned an Associate of Arts Degree at the age of 17, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, as well as a Masters Degree in Finance. |

My live reads more like an adventure novel set in such exotic locations as Costa Rica, Hawaii, and the desert Southwest. Thanks to my parents, I lived an incredible life, which unfortunately, also included surviving a violent murder attempt on that life and a recovery I had to navigate entirely on my own. For a long time, I kept these chapters of my story private. I didn't want to 'go there' because looking back often meant inviting the darkness back in, and I preferred to stay in the light.
