I am a watercolor, ink and mixed-media artist/illustrator living the dream on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
I am a certified interior decorator/designer, as well as a certified mechanical and architectural draftsman/woman. I earned an Associate of Arts Degree at the age of 17, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, as well as a Masters Degree in Finance.
The environment, or my surroundings where I live and work, are very important to me. The goal with my art, is to brighten our surroundings with colors and subjects drawn straight from nature, that raise our energy and make us feel good. We all want to feel good, right?

My natural art talent came by way of graphite on paper, which was great as I loved sketching houses and floorplans, but as a hopeless optimist, seeing everything in my world through rose-colored glasses, I loved color. I struggled to add color to my black and white art. I finally graduated to colored pencil, adding acrylic paint and pastels to boost the color, but the hours it took me to complete each piece was never appreciated. It wasn’t until I landed in a seedy condo on the beach in Hawai’i, where the former owner had left her moldy watercolors and some brushes that I decided to pick up a paintbrush and go for painting, but with the lack of control and detail, I find myself ever so slowly, drifting back to my beloved mixed-media.
